Dear Bill:
This letter is long overdue. I have wanted to
tell you for some time how fortunate I feel to have found Dermatique ten years
ago. It has been a real asset to my practice through the
years.
We have a large number of patients who are
using Dermatique for
its aesthetic benefits. It is often used in combination with other
modalities such as glycolic acid
preparations. We have observed over the years the excellent
long-term benefits for skin care utilizing Dermatique.
I first began to use Dermatique in 1990
mainly as an adjunct in treating scars in seriously injured
patients. I can’t tell you the number of patients that have
benefited from a significant improvement of their scars through the use of
Dermatique. I
believe we have sent you photographs in the past and will continue to do
this in the future.
In April of this year, a close friend of
mine was involved in an airplane accident in our area. He
sustained extensive trauma to his forehead. He had a very
disfiguring injury. I spent about three hours in the emergency
room sewing him up and trying to mitigate as much as possible the
sequelae of this trauma. I told him later that we would need to do
laser resurfacing and scar revision in the future.
As soon as his wounds were healed, I
started him on Dermatique. His
wife faithfully used it several times a day on his forehead. He
has no visible scars at this time! I wish I could say that this
was due to my surgical abilities, but I have to confess that Dermatique is the main
reason that we have had such a dramatic improvement in his case. I
will forward photographs in the near future.
I look forward to seeing you in New
Orleans at the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Plastic and
Reconstructive Surgeons. I want to thank you and your family
personally for making this product available to the Plastic Surgery
community.
Sincerely,
Dean E. Sorensen, M.D.
